Friends of Villanova
As a reminder, the Friends of Villanova program provides access to designated University facilities and programs for residents of Radnor Township and select neighborhoods in Lower Merion Township that are contiguous to campus. Members must be 18 years of age or older. The highlight of the program is access to the fitness center in the Davis Center for Athletics and Fitness—and group exercise classes that take place in the Davis Center—on a space-available basis when campus is open.
Please be advised that some key aspects of the program have been updated:
Annual fee:
The new Friends of Villanova annual membership fee is $60. This is the first-ever increase in the program cost since its formal inception more than 15 years ago. The fee – representing $5 per month – will help offset costs related to program administration and fitness equipment maintenance.
Registration Process:
Walk-in membership registrations and renewals no longer will be available. The registration process now will include an initial online component. The Friends of Villanova online application portal will open on Monday, May 23. An additional email with the link to the application portal will be sent at that time.
After successfully completing that step, applicants will be prompted to visit the Wildcard Office in Dougherty Hall for in-person eligibility verification and ID card pick-up, beginning June 6th.
Starting June 6th, Friends of Villanova ID holders will be able to use the Fitness Center in the Davis Center. Friends of Villanova also will have access this summer to group Pilates Reformer classes in the Davis Center at a rate of $35 for 4 sessions.
Access to the Pavilion Pool, Villanova Stadium and Jake Nevin Field House is not available at this time.
