Highlights – May 2024

May is Bike Month!

Every year, we celebrate biking with National Bike Month. Join in the fun with Raleigh activities and more across the Triangle region!

Prizes for Biking

Win a $100 bike tune-up or DPAC tickets with GoPerks! Use your Unity ID to log your bike trips in Share the Ride NC, then select incentives to enter the prize drawings.

Bike to Work Day

To celebrate Bike to Work Week (May 13-19), Raleigh is organizing local Pit Stops on Thursday, May 16. Stop by the NC State Pit Stop for bike swag and trivia.

Mother’s Day Ride

Join Oaks and Spokes for a leisure MOMentum Mother’s Day ride through Downtown Raleigh and Dorothea Dix Park. At the end, Boulted Bread will provide coffee and treats!

Green Market + Bike Brigade

Grab your bike and join Downtown Raleigh Alliance and Oaks and Spokes for their first-ever Green Market + Bike Brigade!

Transit

Wolfline Summer Schedule

Summer Wolfline service began on May 6. All maps, schedules, and dates are posted on the NC State Transportation website.

GoRaleigh Fares

GoRaleigh is collecting comments on a potential return to fares. Email your comments to GoRaleigh@RaleighNC.gov or attend the May 9 Public Hearing.

GoTriangle Fares

GoTriangle resumes fare collection beginning July 1, 2024. NC State Transportation is awaiting details from GoTriangle regarding GoPass options for students and employees. Once available, more information will be announced.

R-Line Returns

GoRaleigh’s R-Line is back! This free downtown circulator runs every 15 minutes, serving major destinations, including the Convention Center, GoRaleigh Station, and Raleigh Union Station. See additional service updates.

Statewide Awards

GoRaleigh won two statewide awards! These include Transit System of the Year and the Safety Award, which were presented by the NC Public Transportation Association.

Wake Transit Plan

Help set transit investment priorities for the next 10 years! The Wake Transit Plan is currently collecting comments. Share your feedback by June 21.
