New Preschool Options at Ranch House Start in Fall 2016

Are you looking for an enriching and nurturing part-time preschool environment for your 3-5 year old? In addition to continuing our Preschool options at the Community Center, the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District will have a NEW classroom located at the Ranch House starting in the 2016-2017 school year. The Ranch House will offer half-day preschool sessions with morning (9 a.m.-noon) or afternoon (1 p.m.-4 p.m.) options. See the Preschool page on our website for details.

Master Association Board Candidate to Be Elected by Acclamation

The deadline to submit an application for the open seat on the Master Association Board was Jan. 29, and only one candidate, Seth Murphy, came forward by that date. Seth has been a member of the Master Association Board since 2014. The Election Rules and Guidelines allow for an election by acclamation at the Annual Meeting when there are only enough candidates to fill the vacancies. Therefore, there will not be a regular election this month. Thank you, Seth, for volunteering and continuing your role on the Master Association Board.

Delivery of New Trash and Recycling Totes Will Start This Week

For those residents who have ordered new trash and recycling totes, Waste Connections said they plan to start delivery of the new totes this week. It may take a few weeks for all of the totes to be delivered. Residents now have the option of continuing to use their own trash and recycling containers (either trash cans or bags) or of using 96-gallon totes provided at no charge by Waste Connections. If you still want to order totes, send an email to kencarylco@wasteconnections.com or call the Ranch House at 303-979-1876.  In the email or phone message, say that you want to sign up for totes and provide your name, address, email address and phone number. You can request both trash and recycling totes, just a trash tote, or just a recycling tote.
