Reconnecting
Each year, our three studio offices gather together as OneBNIM for a day dedicated to meaningful conservations, listening to presentations from our colleagues and community partners, brainstorming new ideas, and considering the future of design. At the end of January, BNIMers tuned in for our annual, and first virtual, Symposium. After nearly a year since BNIM offices began operating in virtual and hybrid mode, 2021 Symposium focused on the central theme of Reconnecting.
COVID-19 has completely changed the way we interact and connect with people. As a result, we needed to learn methods for Reconnecting with our project teams, clients, communities, family, and friends. This year’s Symposium was just as much about hearing how others Reconnect as it was about simply Reconnecting with each other for the day.

Xenophobia and racism have no place at BNIM, in our communities or in our country. We condemn racism, violence and hate in any and all forms towards any group. The rising violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community since the start of the pandemic is a painful reminder that we must acknowledge the racism that exists and work to create a safe environment for everyone, regardless of one’s background. We are sharing resources on our website for support, donation, and education.  M O R E

Her transformational work positively impacts communities nationally and globally and is rooted in equity and social justice, community-based design, and creating resiliency in built environments. Learn more about Laura's work in BNIM's Spotlight on Laura Lesniewski - Women's History Month.
Laura continues to lead, inspire, and motivate BNIM to deliver beautiful, integrated, living environments that inspire change and enhance the human condition.  M O R E
