From the Ranch House

Masks Still Required

We are so lucky that many RVR residents have received the COVID-19 vaccine! That said, we ask that our members continue to take the recommended precautions while visiting the Ranch House and wear a mask. It may seem counterintuitive, but health officials say that even after you get vaccinated, you still need to practice the usual pandemic precautions, at least for a while. That means steering clear of crowds, continuing to wear a good mask in public, maintaining 6 feet or more of distance from people outside your household and frequently washing your hands.
Click here for information from the CDC website about how to protect others after you have been fully vaccinated.

Ranch House Alarm

The Ranch House security system will be undergoing testing on Thursday, Apr. 8 between 1:30 p.m. & 4 p.m. Ranch House reservations will not be open during this important maintenance and testing of our alarm system.
Leasing or Renting? Be sure to register at Ranch House
If you are currently renting your home or thinking about it, here’s a reminder: All rentals and leases within RVR must register with the Ranch House. This applies to long-term leases, as well as short-term rentals.

Our governing documents require anyone renting their home, for any period of time, to let RVR management know — and to provide a copy of the lease or rental agreement. Failure to do so may result in a fine of $1,000.

Use of your home is limited to single-family occupancy, so your tenants must fall within the definition of a family laid out in the Master Declaration. Violation of residential use and occupancy restrictions may result in a fine of $1,000.

And, if you do rent or lease your home, you are responsible for the behavior of your tenant. That means you need to make sure anyone staying in your home is aware of our rules regarding parking, trash, noise and other issues designed to keep our community problem-free.

Young Artists at the Ranch House
The Ranch House is currently featuring the artwork of twelve talented young artists. This week we are highlighting artist, Maddox Dorffi, Age 9 (pictured left)
Be sure to stop by and view the talented artwork of these young RVR residents before it comes down after the Easter holiday.
Save The Date
RVR resident, Lisa Dancing Light, is an educational specialist and internationally recognized recording artist and composer. She will be offering her first read and book signing event, poolside at the Ranch House, on Friday, Apr. 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Her book, Magic Mountain, an environmentally focused children’s book for ages Pre-K – 3rd grade, is a story about a talking mountain that goes to sleep because people stop coming to hear his stories. When two children come to camp with their parents in the valley of Magic Mountain, they learn about Magic from a wise old owl and decide to journey up the mountain to see if they can awaken him and hear his stories.

This story is an adventure into a special way of listening, of waking up and about the beauty of nature in a changing world.
Please look for more details and sign-up information in upcoming mailings.

Reminders & Highlights

Vehicle Parking & Storage in RVR

Over the past several weeks we have been featuring important information regarding  the Vehicle Parking, Storage, Operation and Repair portion of our Master Declaration to educate the community on what vehicles are and are not allowed at RVR.
Next week, Management will be identifying any parking instances that need to be addressed to gain compliance, as well as answer any questions RVR residents may have regarding their particular vehicle.
Written notices will be given to identify any possible non-compliance’s. We hope to achieve community wide compliance in April to be ready for an active spring and summer. Starting May 1, Notices of Violation and Fines will be issued.
