Niche.com analyzed all 15,310 public high schools in the state of PA and graded them on their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs. The rankings were determined by taking into consideration the school's average SAT and ACT math scores, math proficiency levels and AP math and science class enrollment. Fifteen of the top 25 schools are within the Philadelphia area, including four of the top five. The Niche website focuses on ranking and reviewing schools and neighborhood.
