- October is DASA’s month for the Year of Feeding the Pack Challenge! There are several options to participate.
- Beginning fall break, work will be taking place on the indoor multipurpose courts at the Wellness and Recreation Center and Carmichael Gym while they get a much-needed makeover.
- Registration is open for Wellness and Recreation’s four-week Step To It movement challenge! Compete in teams of 3-10 participants, and discover alternative ways to increase your step count along the way. Don’t have a team? They’ll help you find one! Learn more here.
- Applications for Orientation Leaders and Summer Start Mentors have opened! We want as much representation across campus and know there are great students all around, but we need your help to find them. You can nominate a student for the position by filling out a nomination where we will contact the student directly. Thank you for your continued support of New Student Programs!
- On Thursday, Oct. 5, NC State LIVE! is hosting Gaspard & Dancers, led by North Carolina-based artist Gaspard Louis. Tickets are $20 for NC State staff.
- Reminder: The exhibition “This is Not: Aldwyth in Retrospect” at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design closes after Saturday, Oct. 7. The museum will host its final staff-guided tour of the exhibition on Thursday, Oct. 5.
- 2024 benefits annual enrollment is set for Oct. 9-27.
- DASA has a new Service Awards selection process!
- Reminder: Flu shots are free and available for NC State staff through appointments at the Campus Health Center, or walk-in clinics across campus until December. See a full schedule for clinics here.
