The Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination in partnership with the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium Community Research Advisors Group invites you to participate in an informative discussion given by Mike Frick focusing on the following:
 
    Types of TB vaccines under development
    TB vaccine development strategies
    TB vaccine pipeline
    TB vaccine candidate close-ups
    Challenges to TB vaccine development
    Community engagement around TV vaccines
 
As part of this discussion, attendees will also learn how to access new TB community engagement resources.
About the Presenter: Mike Frick is one of the co-directors of the tuberculosis (TB) program at Treatment Action Group (TAG). Mike leads TAG's advocacy to secure universal access to better ways to prevent TB, including research to develop new TB vaccines. He authors TAG's annual TB Vaccine Pipeline Report and currently serves as the civil society representative to the World Health Organization Director-General's TB Vaccine Accelerator Council. He holds a BA in international studies from Kenyon College and an MSc in global health and population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
