University of Oregon
Dear SSEM team,

Good afternoon. I am excited to share that all team members in the Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management have complied with the vaccination attestation process for our professional staff! Well done team! We have faced many challenges together and you have continuously answered that call with your commitment to having a safe campus.

Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year—Move-in Day. It is a time to Unpack the Quack, greet families, and welcome our incredible students to their new home. Tomorrow will not only bring a slew of emotions and new adventures; it will also formally mark our return of students to campus—something we have all been looking forward to.

We have an exciting week ahead for Week of Welcome. I hope you are able to find a moment during the hustle and fast pace of the week or weekend to soak it all in. This is why we do what we do!

The students are the heartbeat of this campus and your help and tireless work will be enjoyed and appreciated by so many. Say hello to new students, answer questions for parents and families who may need help, and ask a colleague if you can help them in any way. Think about what you can do to make a difference for our students and their families these next few days.

I sincerely look forward to seeing many of you on campus this week, and I can't wait to welcome the flock home.

Go Ducks,
Roger J. Thompson
