Important Package Delivery Notice for Residential Students
Some Walmart and third-party deliveries are not being properly dropped off in designated zones. Tulane Mail Services is not responsible for missing items; therefore, we encourage families to use caution when placing orders from these vendors.
Textbook Delivery and Pickup: What You Need to Know
Tulane’s bookstore makes it easy for students to get their course materials via the NTC Undergrad Bundle. Please remind your student to check their Tulane email for instructions on how to request textbook delivery or schedule a pickup. These books are rented items and must be returned at the end of the semester; otherwise, additional charges may be added to your student’s account. The bundle includes all digital items. Please carefully read all details at: http://bookstore.tulane.edu.
Help Your Student Protect Their Splash Card
The Splash Card is essential for campus life, granting access to dining, residence halls, transportation, and more. To avoid card damage, we recommend that your student:
|
-
Use a plastic or rubber cardholder that fully covers the card. Cardholders are available at the Tulane Bookstore.
- Avoid bending, punching holes, or exposing the card to heat or water, and
- Avoid storing the card in a phone case with wireless charging.
|
Getting Around Campus: Shuttles & Transportation
Tulane offers convenient transportation options for students:
|
-
Shuttles run between the uptown and downtown campuses.
- Airport transportation is available before designated breaks.
- Students can download the Passio Go app for real-time shuttle tracking.
- On-demand rides are available during operating hours within service boundaries.
- A valid Splash Card is required to board.
