Articulate Rise, a tool we use to build self-paced learning modules, recently released a function to integrate code blocks and vibe coding* within modules. We are excited for the interactive possibilities this offers within Blackboard. For example it could be used to:
-
Teach concepts such as standard deviation by letting learners enter different numbers and see how the standard deviation changes when they change the numbers entered
-
Build interactive clinical simulators such as an insulin and blood sugar simulation that lets learners explore the relationships among insulin administration, dietary intake, insulin sensitivity, and glycemic control
- Let learners practice text chatting with a patient or other stakeholders within lessons about communications
Check out the cozy cafe game we vibe-coded for your enjoyment. We’d love to collaborate with SMHS faculty on these types of projects. No programming experience necessary. Have an idea? Hit us up on email: lbl@gwu.edu or alisonmcguire@gwu.edu
