Lung Cancer Screening Action-Planning Workshop |

For three days in April, Golden, CO was host to the GW Cancer Center's inaugural Lung Cancer Screening Action-Planning Workshop. Representatives from 19 CCC programs came together to learn, connect, and develop strategies for implementing an action plan to improve lung cancer screening in their programs. Early detection and prevention continue to be proven tools to reduce the burden of melanoma in the United States. Our Melanoma and Skin Cancer Toolkit includes messaging around melanoma and skin cancer prevention behaviors.

SPIPA Nutritional Newsletter Offers Health and Tradition |

The South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency (SPIPA), located in Shelton,
Washington, serves a consortium of five federally recognized Tribal governments:
the Chehalis Tribe, Skokomish Tribe, Nisqually Tribe, Squaxin Island Tribe, and
Shoalwater Bay Tribe. With its partners, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society, SPIPA has created a quarterly nutritional newsletter for survivors. Each issue includes native healing plants and traditional, healthy recipes.
