U.S. Preventive Services Task Force agrees that breast cancer screening, mammography, should start at age 40. Breast cancer is one of the four cancer screenings proven to reduce death and is recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Missing Mike: 5 years later his legacy continues to help others

Michael Bodge passed away from testicular cancer at the age of 26. His family believes that 3 Steps Detect and early cancer detection could have saved his life.

Our friends at C.A. Senecal Electrical Services cleared out workspace and brought in tables so DetecTogether could teach their employees how to recognize early signs of cancer—from self-exams to understanding their critical role in healthcare with 3 Steps Detect.

We expect Senecal employees to benefit, as UniBank CEO Michael Welch found, "Team UniBank has never been healthier, and as a result, we've saved lives, helped employees live healthier lives, and in addition, our healthcare premiums have significantly dropped all because of the work of DetecTogether."

Saving Firefighter Lives: 4,000 Houston firefighters empowered with 3 Steps Detect

Houston Fire Department (HFD) in Texas is the third largest department in the country. They see the impact of cancer on their team and take the fight against cancer seriously. DetecTogether spent a week training all HFD District Training Officers to teach 3 Steps Detect to all members of the department. In partnership with the HFD, DetecTogether continues to work toward reducing cancer deaths in the fire service.
