Virtual activities will include reading & math instruction with certified teachers, social & emotional learning, family events, physical activity & sports, art, music, dance, science, cooking, drama, & more!

City-Wide Update

Penn Updates

1. In partnership with Penn Leads the Vote (PLTV), the University announced an instutitutional plan for getting 100% of the campus registered to vote by 2028. Click button below or here for the full story!

School District of Philadelphia Updates

Free chromebooks on loan from the School District of Philadelphia are still avaliable over the summer, as are tech repair services. However, the hours are different than during the school year. Click below for more details!

WorkReady and Career Exposure Internships
Attention rising 7th-12th graders!
Our incentive-based summer programs are now over-enrolled. Students who apply for the Career Exposure or WorkReady programs will be put on a waiting list. If we are not able to place interested students into Netter Center programs, we will work with students and families to refer you to another provider.

If you have already completed an online application and have questions or need support with the next steps of the enrollment process, please attend our virtual enrollment sessions at the times listed below:

WorkReady Virtual Enrollment Session (rising 9th-12th grade)  
MONDAY, June 15th 4-5pm

Career Exposure Virtual Enrollment Session (rising 7th & 8th grade)
THURSDAY, June 18th 3-4pm

UACS Night Virtual Summer Programming
UACS Nights' last day of spring programming ended last Friday, June 12. Summer programming will run June 22 - August 7!  The link will be in next week's newsletter.
