Underdogs to State Champions
After finishing the regular season in the middle of the Jeffco league, Valor boys golf excelled through the state tournament to win the program's first 5A state championship.

Cooper Youngs '14 started his career in sports by bringing the Special Olympics club to Valor. Now he and Annie Hertel Youngs '14 live in Nevada, where he works for the NHL's Las Vegas Knights.

Modified Schedules
Due to Fall Break, we will follow modified schedules this week. You can view the bell schedule here. - Monday, 10/12 - Classes will meet 8:10 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, 10/13 - Classes will meet 9:30 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.
- Wednesday, 10/14 - PSAT for 9th-11th Graders, arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. 12th-grade students are excused from school this day.
- Enjoy Fall Break on Thursday, 10/15 and Friday, 10/16.

PSAT Testing - October 14All 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14. Students are asked to arrive at the normal start time of 8:10 a.m. All students must bring a calculator and #2 pencils. Snacks and water are encouraged. Most juniors will be testing in one of the gymnasiums. It is recommended students bring a sweater or light jacket due to colder temperatures in the gyms.
Testing will conclude at approximately 11:45 a.m. and students will be released for Fall Break. Results from this testing will be available online in mid-December. You can find more information on the PSAT website. Seniors are excused from school on PSAT testing day.
