The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Iowa Homeownership Ambassador Program, a collaborative marketing initiative designed to strengthen homeownership outreach and engagement across the state.
The program brings together trusted industry voices around a shared mission—making homeownership more accessible for Iowans. Eligible organizations, including nonprofits, housing organizations, and associations focused on homeownership, housing counseling, or financial education (and in good standing with IFA), are encouraged to apply.

Homeownership is one of the most powerful ways to build generational wealth and long-term stability. The Homeownership Ambassador Program represents a measurable effort to move the needle on increasing homeownership in Iowa, ensuring that more families have the opportunity to invest in their futures, their neighborhoods, and their communities.
As a Homeownership Ambassador, your organization will help promote financial literacy, raise awareness of homeownership resources, and guide Iowans to the tools they need—such as IFA’s WelcomeHomeIowa.com education platform and statewide lender network. Ambassadors will stay engaged through quarterly virtual meetings, collaborative outreach, and cross-promotion of statewide homeownership initiatives.
Please note: Lenders and Realtors® are not eligible for this program. Other targeted partnership opportunities are available—contact lender.inquiry@iowafinance.com for more information.

The application is available in the link below. Organizations interested in being recognized as founding members must apply by December 12, 2025, though applications will remain open on an ongoing basis.
Approved Ambassadors will gain increased visibility, access to IFA marketing and communication tools, social media amplification, and opportunities for strategic collaboration. Together, we can make homeownership possible for more Iowans.
