Dear Wagner students,
Welcome back for the spring semester! It has been a thrill to see students filling the halls of our new building with their energy as we’ve opened our ground floor for classes and events. We appreciate your patience as we continue to finish the space to best meet the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.
As you have likely read in the message from President Mills, I have made the difficult decision to step down as dean of NYU Wagner. I will stay on board until a new dean has been appointed, and Wagner’s day-to-day operations will remain seamless. As Dean, it has been incredible to witness the ground-breaking, world-changing work of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni and I am excited for the next chapter.
The new year also brings new challenges and opportunities in the world of public service. At Wagner, as always, we are committed to fostering compassionate, motivated leaders equipped with the skills to drive authentic change in their fields. We look forward to the discussions, actions, and events that will occur this semester as we continue to support that mission.
