Our first Howling Success of the 2025-26 school year is a fourth-year student who has developed and strengthened a passion for building community as a Resident Advisor (RA). Malak Hassanein is also heavily involved with the RA Council, American Marketing Association and several other campus endeavors.

- Take a look back at the history of the annual Pantry Bowl ahead of its fifth edition this November.
- October is LGBTQ+ History Month and the Pride Center is hosting a series of events for the campus community including an exhibition in the Visualization Gallery Oct. 1-3 and PrideFest Oct. 7.
- University Theatre will open its 2025-26 season Thursday, Oct. 2 with The Forest Night by NC State student Alexandra Weld.
- Join NC State LIVE for a week of free events Oct. 6-11, inspired by a visionary aerial dance work NOLI TIMERE by Rebecca Lazier and set within a custom net sculpture by world-renowned sculptor, Janet Echelman.
- Students in NC State’s Panoramic Dance Project will perform at the North Carolina Museum of Art on Oct. 18, and at the North Carolina Dance Festival in Greensboro on Nov. 7.
- Every October, join the Women’s Center for a variety of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) events.
- Nominations for a number of faculty awards for the 2025-26 academic year are now open.
