It's officially Wordplay month. Wordplay is LVCA's annual fundraising event held each spring at The Paramount Theater—and we want you there!

Wordplay is a team-based trivia competition for people who love words, vocabulary, pop culture, history, literature, and showing off their smarts. Each team is comprised of three members. The audience is invited to play along and cheer for their favorite team!

Team registration is open, and 28 teams have registered to compete so far.

A team sponsorship of $600 covers the cost of supplying educational services to one student for six months.

If team competition isn’t for you, join us as an audience member! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from The Paramount’s Box Office. We'll give you your own answer sheet so you can play along. Audience members can also vote in our "Best Team Name" and "Best Costume" competitions.

Volunteer Registration

From scorekeepers to raffle ticket sellers, it takes about 60 volunteers to run Wordplay successfully.

Wordplay volunteers receive dinner, one free drink, and a great night out, helping us raise as much money as possible for the students of LVCA.

Raffle Prizes: Something for Everyone

We divided our fabulous raffle prizes into three great categories this year: Food & Drink, Goods & Services, and Night Out Packages. Each ticket purchase allows you to enter to win one prize in a category.

Tickets will be available to purchase in our office soon. You do not need to be present to win. Of course, you can also buy your tickets at the event. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
