Relive Commencement with the Class of ‘19

The Class of 2019 Commencement Ceremony will feature a number of successful alumni coming back to inspire the next generation of Gauchos.

The commencement speakers are Dr. Nicolasa Sandoval Ph.D. ’07, Kenny Broad ’89, Puoy Premsrirut ‘96, Rick Rosen ’75, Ali Bauerlein ’03, Brenton Taylor ’03, and Deb Callahan ’81. It is no surprise that UCSB has sent some extraordinary people off into the world. We can only imagine what this Class of 2019 Gauchos will accomplish.

The Benioff Ocean Initiative, a center for applied ocean research based at UC Santa Barbara, is partnering with The Coca-Cola Foundation to fund a plastic waste capture system in a major polluting river.
