| 🤲 Faces of Our Food FutureÂ

This summer, GW launched its inaugural Humanitarian Internship Program Pilot (HIPP). Now known as the Humanitarian Internship Program (HIP), it is a 10-week professional internship opportunity to contribute to global and local humanitarian efforts. The program partners with leading organizations addressing critical challenges across the humanitarian sector. Two of HIP's first interns, Callie Hoffman and Phillip Yamoah Appiah, focused on food aid and are examples of GW’s emerging food leaders at World Central Kitchen and Project HOPE. Â

Join the next installment of the Black Farmers and the Food System Conversation Series led by Dr. Mya O. Price. The panel brings together Black farmers, food leaders, and community advocates to share how they’re transforming food systems from the ground up. The event will take place on Thursday, September 25 at GW's Science and Engineering Hall in Lehman Auditorium.
This event is co-hosted by GW's Global Food Institute, GW’s Equity Institute, and GW’s Department of History.Â
