UO EVENTS
  • Don't miss the horror comedy production Sorority House of the Dead. Performances are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16, at 7:00 p.m. in Agate Hall. Free admission; $1 suggested donation.
  • Come on over to a night of Filipino American culture with free food, performances, and activities. Fil-Am Showtime is Sunday, Nov. 17, 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the Global Scholars Hall Great Room.
  • Attend events like the Study Abroad Fair and info sessions during International Education Week and have a chance to win a $500 GEO study abroad scholarship.

  • Honor Trans Day of Remembrance with LGBTESS on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 5:00–8:00 p.m. in the EMU Ballroom.
  • Gain a new skill at the Kayak Pool Session or practice your kayaking abilities on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. $5 for equipment and van ride to the pool; $8 for pool entry.
  • Connect with other students underrepresented in their field for guest lectures, career development, and support at the Women in Economics Club on Thursdays, 6:00–7:00 p.m. in 140 Allen Hall. All are welcome.

  • Thinking about changing your major or adding a minor? Ducks on Track, the degree progress tool, allows you to explore “what if” scenarios for changing your degree path while staying on track for graduation.
  • Existing parking permit holders can renew for winter term parking in their same zone beginning Monday, Nov. 18, at 10:00 a.m.
  • The year 2025 will mark a new era for the UO ID card. The Flock Card is taking its place next fall and will need a refresh. Submit your design for the Flock Card by Friday, Dec. 20.
  • The UO women's and men's club soccer teams won their league tournaments in the NIRSA Regional Championship in Corvallis early November. Now the teams will enter the championship division at the national championships in Round Rock, Texas, beginning Nov. 21. Go Ducks!
TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
  • Be seated for UO space physicist Carol Paty’s discussion of NASA’s mission to Europa, a moon orbiting Jupiter that has a global water ocean beneath its icy shell. Attend tonight at 6:00 at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
  • Gain insights from author and law professor Sarah Lamdan about digital privacy concerns. Join on Friday, Nov. 15, at 1:00 p.m., either on Zoom or in the Knight Library’s DREAM Lab. Register in advance.
  • Learn to share your crossroad story at the Intertwined personal storytelling workshop on Thursday, Nov. 21, 4:00–6:00 p.m. in 101 McKenzie Hall. RSVP to attend.
