$10k Small Business Grant Opens August 31st
Is your business of 50 employees or less in need of additional support?  Application for $10k will open next week on the city website.  Applicants will have until 5:00 pm on September 21, 2020 to submit the required application and materials (Timeline)
Applications will be reviewed when submitted and a determination will be made if they are eligible and amount of funding. Eligible businesses

Jumpstart Owatonna Results

A survey conducted with the grant recipients of the program helped provide insight about the impact of the program on local small businesses.  Special thanks to Lane Versteeg for creating the survey and pulling the results.  Additional results here.

Welcome Midwest LED Sign Compnay

Ambassadors visited with Midwest LED Sign Company: 1151 S. Oak Ave, in Owatonna, to welcome them as a new member. Daryl and Char Kubicek are the owners. Midwest LED Sign Company does nationwide sales, repairs and installations of all types of signage. They specialize in LED electronic signs. 

Visit Owatonna launches "Welcome back" marketing campaign with EMT Crisis Grant

The OACCT was awarded and received a grant of $14K.  The grant was designed to provide advertising dollars to individual, established non-profits DMO's and primary promotion agencies.  This grant will help Visit Owatonna remain visible to customers during this difficult perior, and continue to stimulate travel for the economic benefit of Owatonna.

After 3 ½ years at OACCT, Dodie Ellingson has retired as of July 30, 2020 as the Office Support Manager.  She has countless hours of processing gift certificates, phone calls and directing visitors to Owatonna.  We appreciated her dedication and knowledge of Owatonna and its history!
