UO EVENTS
  • Share your input on the future of a major campus thoroughfare at today’s 13th Avenue Schematic Design Open House, 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the EMU main entrance lobby.
  • It’s friendship bracelet time at Freebie Friday on March 15! Send your bestie off for spring break with a token of love. Meet near the EMU O Desk, noon–2:00 p.m.
  • Antigone—Sophocles’ tale of courage and duty—has its final shows today through Sunday, March 14–17, in the Miller Theatre Complex’s Hope Theatre. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday’s matinee at 2:00 p.m.
  • The University Singers and UO Chamber Choir will perform Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., and the UO Gospel Ensemble performs Sunday, March 17, at 5:00 p.m., both at Beall Concert Hall and free with your UO student ID.
  • Live off campus and having a party? Do your part to be a good neighbor by registering with the Party Registration Program to reduce noise complaints and calls to law enforcement. Party Registration Orientation is today, 6:00–7:00 p.m. in 117 Fenton Hall.

  • Quack back! Submit your student experience surveys and provide your instructors with constructive feedback before 6:00 a.m. on Monday, March 18.
  • Are you missing any emails? Recently, some official UO messages were delivered to people’s junk folders. UO Information Services has addressed that problem but encourages everyone to continue checking their junk email folder often.

  • Live near the Eugene campus and leaving for spring break? Register your student residence for free with UOPD’s Vacation Watch program.
  • If you plan to travel for outdoor activities during break, be sure to know the current weather and road conditions.

  • Chippewa Cree Tribe member and UO alum Margaret Faliano leads a Leadership and Storytelling Chat on accurate and contemporary Indigenous representation in society on Friday, March 15, noon–1:30 p.m. in 440 Lillis.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • If you’d like help navigating stress, anxiety, or just want some support, drop in for the Anxiety Skills Lab on Thursday, March 21, 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Counseling Services.
  • Reconnect with nature, relax before finals week, and learn about a non-pharmacological way to improve mood and attitude by Forest Bathing in Hendricks Park with the Student Sustainability Center on Friday, March 15, 2:00–3:30 p.m.
  • Join the Outdoor Program for a St. Patrick’s Day Group Ride to Shift Community Cycles on Sunday, March 17, 3:00–5:00 p.m., starting from the Bike Program in 008 EMU.
  • Need support with food security as the term winds down? Come by the Student Sustainability Center’s Trillium Plus Produce Drop to see if you qualify for free fruits, vegetables, bread, and more on Tuesday, March 19, 2:45–5:00 p.m. at the EMU Amphitheater.
