Updated HPV Awareness Toolkit
In August, we focus on the importance of vaccination, emphasizing the need to stay current on routine immunizations and protect communities from preventable diseases like HPV. To help your program with messaging, we have updated our HPV Awareness Toolkit with new message sets!
The updated toolkit has over 50 ready-to-use social media messages and graphics. They can all be downloaded as a zip file for your programs to use as you need them.
There are specific message sets to promote the HPV vaccine as a part of the back-to-school routine when many eligible-aged children get a physical.

How Connecticut is Improving HPV Vaccination Rates
Katie Shuttleworth, the Health Program Associate with the Connecticut Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, recently shared on an NCCCP call how Connecticut is improving HPV vaccinations rates. Their HPV workgroup has been busy to establish and activate many partnerships, media campaigns and outreach efforts which will decrease HPV-related cancer in Connecticut.
