Employee Spotlight: Gabrielle Gaston
A Yellow Jacket employee since 2019, Gabrielle D. Gaston is the special projects lead in the Office of Institute Budget Planning and Administration (a.k.a. the Budget Office). Before joining the Finance and Planning team, she supported change management within Enterprise Resources Planning and the Administrative Service Center. In her current role, Gabrielle is responsible for collaborating with senior management to develop and prioritize strategies and projects that support the growth of the Institute including the Budget Reform and Workday Adaptive Planning implementation.
| |
A true advocate of public service, Gabrielle embraces the opportunity to diversify her knowledge and build expertise in administration knowing that the hard work supports the Institute’s mission and, most importantly, the students. Since joining Georgia Tech, she has seen a lot of change and looks forward to contributing to even more changes in the future. Gabrielle feels fortunate for the support she receives from the Budget Office and Finance and Planning leadership team as she continues to challenge ways of thinking and processes as the Institute moves forward.
Gabrielle loves engaging with her colleagues – whether it be hosting a webinar or grabbing lunch in the student center. And speaking of food... she loves to cook and is even trying her hand at baking, “One loaf of bread at a time.”
