4-H Snack Bar

4-H Snack Bar shifts are now open for the 2023 Northern Wisconsin State Fair! The 4-H Snack Bar is the only fundraiser of the Chippewa County 4-H Leaders Council.

Thefunds raised from the 4-H Snack Bar help support affordable programming in Chippewa County, including helping support camp fees for overnight and day camp, sending youth on educational experiences with a 50% scholarship, providing the bus for the 5th to 8th Grade Experience, helping pay for supplies for project kits and more. In the last year, these funds have benefitted over 200 youth in the 4-H program.

4-H Graduation and Awards

Upcoming graduates mark your calendars for 4-H graduation on Sunday, July 30th 2023. Please submit your sign up form below to be recognized for this great achievement!

The Chippewa County 4-H Leaders Council has 5 county-wide awards that they are seeking nominations for including The Key award, The Volunteer of the Year award, The Community Servant award, The "I Dairy You" Award and Friend of 4-H award. Nominations will be collected through June 6th to be decided at the June 13th Leaders Council meeting and can be submitted below.

Club Advisor Meeting

Join the club advisor meeting on Wednesday, June 20th at 7:30 PM. Club presidents and treasurers please plan on attending. Discussion topic includes 2023-24 Annual Finnancial Renew and Charters.

Save the Date: 5th-8th Grade Experience!

Join the 5th-8th grade experince in Oshkosh, WI from August 15th-17th! Registration will be available on 4-H Online starting June 1st and stay open until July 8th. Registration fee is to be determined. Payment will be due by July 31st.

Chippewa County 4-H Shotgun Program

The Chippewa County 4-H shotgun training day will be held at Wilcox Sportsman Club on Wednesday, June 7th from 5 - 7pm. New shotgun participants must attend this evening. Returning participants attendance is optional as the summer program will begin that same night. The program fee is $15 for new participants and $10 for returning participants. New participants must be 12 years or older by January 1st, 2023. Questions? Call Matt Frisinger at 715-225-4700.

Goat Project Meeting

The Dairy Goat Project will meet on Monday, May 22nd at the Lymett Farms starting at 6:30PM. We will have a short business meeting followed by our educational topic, goat judging.
