Craig Plowgian ’01
Hometown: Columbus, Ohio
Major: Biology
Minor: Philosophy
Occupation: Pediatrician
What activities were you involved in while you were a student at Denison?
While at Denison, I was a member of Hilltoppers and played club soccer. I was also a biology TA.
Since graduation, how have you stayed connected with Denison?
I have stayed connected primarily through the Hilltoppers and have helped plan several reunion events for the a cappella group.
What has been most rewarding about your volunteer experience?
For me, it is all about the relationships with the people I met at Denison. I love reconnecting with those friends over the years.
What would you tell an alum who is considering volunteering for Denison?
Everyone I have worked with has been great. It has been a very rewarding experience, and I have loved seeing how Denison is evolving to meet students’ needs.
What is your favorite Denison memory?
There are so many to pick from. One of the most meaningful memories is the last Hilltopper concert before graduation. Since being a member of the Hilltoppers was such a major part of my Denison experience, the concert was a wonderful tribute to many incredible friends and memories from those years.
