YEARBOOK UPDATE
The 2019-2020 yearbook is complete, and a special spring supplement that honors our seniors is almost finished. As long as our printer in Kansas City, Missouri is able to stay on schedule, we should have the books in early July.
The Class of 2020 will receive their yearbooks when they pick up their graduation gowns the week of July 13.
Supplements will likely be delivered in September, and we will mail these to the Class of 2020. Every Brebeuf student will receive a yearbook and supplement.

In light of recent events, we wanted to highlight some Brebeuf Braves who are heroes in our midst. Brebeuf alumnae Yasmine Anderson '18, Nia-Hyatt Eldosogui '19, and Sadiyah Anderson '21 helped to organize and coordinate a peaceful demonstration in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, May 30. The demonstration, “Protesting Racial Injustice,” was to bring further attention to the killing of George Floyd while in police custody and other cases of racial injustice. The demonstration began at the War Memorial and participants marched to Monument Circle. Yasmine, Nia-Hyatt, and Sadiyah were also a part of fundraising efforts and raised over $1000, which they contributed to the “Black Lives Matter Movement." The entire demonstration was completely peaceful and organizers were commended for their commitment to social change and organizational efforts.
To follow-up their original efforts, the trio is also planning a non-violent sit-in, this Saturday, June 6 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. The gathering will occur at the Indiana Statehouse on North Capitol Avenue. The purpose is to encourage local political leadership to stand in solidarity with the demonstrators and the demands for racial justice and legislation. We are deeply moved by the sacrifice and social activism of Yasmine, Nia-Hyatt, and Sadiyah. Let’s show our support and encouragement for these courageous activists and leaders in the fight for social justice and fairness.

PRAYERS FOR THESE TIMES
Friday, June 5 is the memorial of St. Boniface, a bishop and martyr, but it is also the first Friday and a time when many are suffering and many hearts are broken. Pope Francis has asked us to pray in a special way this month for all those who suffer, that they will allow themselves to be touched by the heart of Jesus.
So, for tomorrow morning's 7:45 a.m. Mass, we will offer the votive Mass of the Sacred Heart and conclude the Mass with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. At about 8:10 a.m., we will begin the exposition.
At the conclusion of the exposition, at about 9:15 a.m., we will offer prayers for an end to racism, violence, and injustice, and as there is so much division in the world—among nations, within the Church, in politics, and even in families—we will also unite our hearts with the heart of Jesus and pray for healing and reconciliation.
Join us for a few minutes or for as long as you wish.
The Mass can be found on our Facebook page here.

CHECK OUT WHAT'S NEW ON THE GOODS
Academic rigor is a trait used often to describe a Brebeuf Jesuit education. And, while students at Brebeuf know this to be true, seeing the fruits of this rigor played out in competition is rare. The student participants of the Catholic Math League have not only used the skills they’ve gained from their challenging mathematics courses in competition – they’ve dominated.
Click here to read how this team has crushed their competition from around the country this year.
