Community partnerships power six new murals in downtown Carbondale
Muralists pictured from left to right: Matt Catanzaro, Zach Yahn, Eric Bussart, Corey O’Brien and Bill Masters
Six new murals were recently unveiled in downtown Carbondale earlier this month, each reflecting the six core values identified through the Carbondale Heart & Soul program. This project was made possible through the collaboration of local residents, artists, Valley In Motion, Carbondale Mayor Michele Bannon, and the Pennsylvania Blueprint team, whose efforts support community-driven revitalization and growth.
The murals highlight Carbondale’s heritage, resilience and vision for the future, and local residents are encouraged to visit downtown to see these new additions to the streetscape.
