Informational Community Meeting – Ball Fields at Bradford K-8 North
Meeting Date: Thursday, March 9

Location: Bradford K-8 North, 2 Woodruff
Please join representatives from Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District and Jefferson County Schools for an informational meeting regarding proposed ball fields at the Bradford K-8 North School (formerly called Bradford Intermediate). Childcare will be available. This will serve as a special meeting of the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Board. An agenda will be available online prior to the meeting. A project fact sheet and meeting summary will be available online the day after the meeting.

| Speed Bump at Community Center
A new speed table was supposed to be installed this week on Club Drive by the Community Center. The contractor made an error and installed a speed bump. They are scheduled to replace the speed bump with a speed table (wider and flat on top) on Thursday.

| Master Association Board Election Begins Later this WeekThere are two seats open on the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Board for the March election, and five candidates submitted applications. You can read the candidates’ bios and their answers to some pertinent election questions by clicking on the link below. For the first time, voting instructions will be sent electronically via email to those households and businesses with an email address in our accounting system. A postcard will be mailed to those households and businesses that don't have an email address on file. Residents will either receive a postcard in the mail or via email from Vote HOA later this week with voting instructions. While you are encouraged to vote online, you can make an appointment to vote in person at the Ranch House with a paper ballot. Please call 303-979-1876 to make an appointment to vote in person. The election will close March 7 at 5 p.m., and the winners will be announced later that night.

| Participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count Feb. 17-20This is a great way to be a part of Citizen Science! The Great Backyard Bird Count is a four-day event run by the National Audubon Society and Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Birders from all over the world count and report all birds that they see in at least 15 minutes from any location they choose. Check out the following link to learn more and get involved!

HawkQuest - Birds of Prey LectureThis one-hour participatory program will feature a Bald or a Golden Eagle, an owl, a falcon, and a free-flying hawk. Students will learn about the importance of different raptor species, their specially-adapted tools, and their role in our ecosystems.

| Hip Hop Dance ClassHip-hop classes are very popular, high-energy classes! Taught by local favorite and dance phenom Zachary Hall, this fun class integrates many different styles of hip-hop including pop and lock, street style, and break dancing. Students will learn the trendiest moves they see in the current pop culture.
