Congratulations!Travis Stanley began teaching in 2008. He is the high school visual arts teacher at CMCSS K-12 Virtual AND a Teacher of the Year!"The skills I teach my students help them create beautiful works of art. More importantly, though, the process of art-making helps students to become problem-solvers," said Mr. Stanley. "I believe that being able to think and solve problems in an abstract way is a foundational skill for students in the 21st century. What I love most about being a teacher is when I see students come up with original solutions to the design problems I set before them." Congratulations, Mr. Stanley!
