Last day to register for the 2025 Life Span Institute Collaboratory

Hi, all. I hope everyone is staying warm at home following yesterday's blizzard conditions in eastern Kansas. This email is a reminder that today is the final day to register for the 2025 Collaboratory.
This year's event will be held Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Jayhawk Welcome Center. More than 120 people, including LSI investigators, staff, graduate students, and several KU leaders have registered to attend. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. The event includes talks by John Colombo and Executive Vice Chancellor for Research Shelley Hooks. There will be a panel discussion with researchers and staff on creating collaborative partnerships, speed presentations from research center directors, and a reception to cap the day.
Everyone should have received an email invitation directly, unique to each person's email address; a final invitation email went out this morning. If you can't find your invitation, or are unsure if you have registered, please reach out to Alyssa Cool. While the event is 10 days away, today we are finalizing our numbers for catering, the facility and printing needs.
I hope to see you at this once-a-year event that brings together individuals from LSI centers, the central office, and LSI affiliated labs and KU departments to connect and learn more about each other's work. On behalf of the Life Span Institute executive team, thank you. We look forward to seeing you next week. -Jen
