Campus & Community Updates |
Villanova's Fall Semester begins this month and we are thrilled to welcome our newest Wildcats to campus beginning with Move-In Day on Wednesday, August 21st.
Move-In Day and New Student Orientation are highly anticipated events for our campus community and their families. As our academic year gets underway, we'd like to remind our neighbors of campus events that may impact vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area around our Main Campus.
Temporary Road Closures for Wednesday, August 21st
Please note that Move-In Day for incoming first-year residential students will take place on Wednesday, August 21st, and will necessitate parking lot and road closures. Perseid Meteor Showers Over Philly are Approaching Their Annual Peak. Don’t Wait Until Next Year
The Philadelphia Inquirer (subscription may be required to view)
The Perseids, the most popular meteor showers of the year, are reaching their peak after a stormy week, and watching doesn’t entail a whole lot of effort. And some of the fireballs can streak across the sky in a pretty dramatic fashion,” said Scott Engle, assistant professor of astrophysics and planetary science at Villanova University.
