Sikh Heritage Month - April 2025
Since 2016, the TDSB has proudly recognized Sikh Heritage Month every April, becoming the first school board in Canada to do so. The 2025 theme is Ekta (Oneness), Solidarity, and Resilience. Guru Nanak's teachings on justice, equality, and community inspire various educational offerings for students and staff. These principles challenge discrimination, combat bullying, and promote inclusivity. Read the full Sikh Heritage Month message to learn about the podcast series, educational video, & virtual celebration for the TDSB community on April 3.
