Amid summer's fun and relaxation, I wanted to send you some important information to put on the calendar and discuss with your Wildcat as you begin to look forward to the Fall semester!
While home for summer, the work on campus has been remarkable! Tremendous progress has been made on Vic Maggitti Hall, the new home of Falvey Library, and the Connelly Center revitalization will be complete by the time your student arrives back to campus. The only thing missing are our students and the energy they bring—we can't wait to welcome them back!
Enjoy these final weeks of summer, and as always, please stay in touch!

Health Insurance Reminder |
Health insurance is mandatory for all undergraduate matriculated students, international students and law school students. The insurance waiver and enrollment period for the Fall 2025 semester is now open (this waiver or enrollment must be completed annually while your student is at Villanova).
If your Villanovan has health insurance coverage that will cover medical expenses when in Villanova, Pennsylvania, they can opt out of Villanova’s Health Insurance plan. If coverage is not waived by Friday, Sept. 5, your student will be responsible for the charge. Complete details and requirements can be found on the Student Health Center's Health Insurance Information and Requirements page under the "Undergraduate Matriculated Students" (Domestic and International) drop down.
Once your waiver is approved, the charge will be removed from your student's account.

Connect with Student Performing Arts |
The Arts are alive on campus! If your Wildcat has a passion for performance, encourage them to cultivate that interest here! Whether they'd like to pursue singing, dancing, acting or playing an instrument, remind them that they best way to connect with Student Performing Arts is through the the Arts@Nova survey. Once completed, they'll get all the information and next steps.

Family Weekend Planning is Underway |
|
|
Family Weekend will be held Friday, Sept. 26-Sunday, Sept. 28. We welcome our families back to campus to enjoy the University through their Wildcat’s eyes and experience. It’s a great weekend to have fun, reconnect with your student and learn about opportunities while socializing with other Villanova families and friends. Our schedule is available online and will continue to be updated over the next several weeks. Registration and payment for some events will be required and will open later this summer.
This year, we are thrilled to host Pops in the Pavilion, a student scholarship concert, on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.! This unique performance will feature the legendary Philly Pops and two-time Tony Award-winning singer and actress Sutton Foster. Tickets will go on sale in late August.
In the meantime, if your family is interested in participating in Tailgate on the Green, we are offering two opportunities this year—the first during Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 27 from noon-3 p.m., and the second during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 25. Please visit the Family Weekend page for details surrounding Tailgate on the Green and instructions for how students can register to enter our lottery for a chance to purchase a tent during Family Weekend.
Please continue to visit our Parent and Family page for up-to-date information and follow us on Instagram for more information.

Academic Coaching with Learning Support Services |
|
|
Is your student struggling to stay on track academically? Did last semester not go as well as you and your student had hoped? Plug into the Nova Network |
Has your student created their Nova Network profile yet? Through the Nova Network, Villanova students can build meaningful connections with alumni and get real-world advice from those who’ve walked the same path. Summer is a great time to encourage your student to sign up and start building meaningful relationships. If your student is not sure how to get the most out of the Nova Network, we recommend they connect with a Villanova Career Center counselor via their Handshake account. Villanova Career Center counselors have great tips to help them make the most of the platform.
