Keeping Toros Informed

To keep the CSUDH community up to date with the latest news and developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the fall semester and campus operations, this newsletter will be providing routine updates throughout the crisis.

Library to Offer Curbside Pickup

The University Library continues to look for ways to support student research needs despite the physical library being closed. Starting Tuesday, October 20, students who need to check out books or other print resources can do so through a new curbside pickup process.

Search for and request the item through the OneSearch field on library.csudh.edu. You can also place requests for books outside of the CSU Libraries via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

When the item is ready to pick up, you will receive an email confirmation, with a link to schedule a time for your pickup. Appointments are available on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm and Thursdays from 12pm to 4pm.

Student Wellness Resources

If you are in need of relaxation, home workout routines, or food resources, CSUDH's new COVID-19 Student Well-Being Resources page is up and running. There, students can obtain resources to assist them in thriving during these unprecedented times.

The page provides tools and strategies for self-care while building resilience and creating fun, exciting virtual spaces. From mindfulness and calming techniques to creative activities for families and children, a wide range of resources and support are available to assist students in navigating this challenging moment in time.

CSUDH COVID-19 Communications Survey

We have extended the deadline of the COVID-19 Communications Survey. If you didn’t complete the survey last week, please do so now. Your feedback helps the university provide effective and timely communications, and helps keep you informed about important campus developments. Please complete the survey by Friday, October 23.
