Hello to the NESA community! Here we are already at the middle of May - how the time flies when the sun is shining and we are keeping busy with our favorite outdoor hobbies and activities!
While we don't have too much new news to share since last week, we did want to send out a few updates for you so you could stay in the know with NESA. 
A reminder to everyone that the next half of the Spring 2024 season starts on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. If you haven't registered for the next five weeks of your favorite programs, be sure to do so right away to secure your spot. Garden and Plant Sale NESA's Garden Club is hosting its Annual Plant and Garden Sale - Friday, May 17/24, from 10:00am-3:00pm, at Steele Heights.
Monday Book Sales at McClure - NESA's Next book sale is on Monday, May 27/24, from 9:00am-3:00pm
Bottle Drive at Steele Heights - Wednesday, June 5/24 from 8:30am-12:00pm.

 New Essentrics Hybrid Class!
Join us at Rundle Park on Monday mornings starting Monday, May 27/24 through to Monday, June 24/24 from 9:30am-10:30am where we will be hosting a hybrid class for Essentrics ® for Stretch and Tone and Age Reversing.
This class will lead you through a dynamic combination of strengthening and stretching and help restore movement to your joints, improve flexibility and strengthen your muscles. Some floor work included but modifications can be provided.

Music, Song and Dance Request!
We need your help! NESA has noticed a shift with the interest in "Music, Song and Dance" programs and we want to know what peaks your interest and gets those toes tapping!  Northgate and Construction Updates
While we are still awaiting confirmation of our official return and move-in date back to Northgate, we are excited to tell you that tentative Summer and Fall 2024 programming is already underway. Once we have more details confirmed we will update you just as soon as we are able to. Thank you for your support and patience - we look forward to reuniting with everyone soon!

Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our seniors recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives.
