Resources from the Promise and Peril of People Analytics Talk
| |
Last week, Professor Sal Falletta examined the tension at the heart of people analytics: its potential to support evidence-based, ethical, and systematic workforce decision-making, alongside the risk of sliding into a datafication agenda that reduces employees to data points and enables invasive monitoring practices, ranging from questionable to clearly problematic, with many ethical gray areas in between.
| |
Drawing on a seven-step people analytics cycle, he outlined practical strategies for embedding ethical considerations at each stage. Review his slides below to consider how these strategies might inform ethical people analytics practices in your own context.
