Good Evening,
An upcoming business trip will bring me to Omaha, Nebraska at the end of June. Do any of my readers live there, or might anyone have an "in" so that I could see their radio and/or TV stations studios? I do enjoy touring facilities. Please let me know, and thank you in advance!

For the last 34 years, Randy Brist has been the director/faculty advisor for Lafayette Schools’ Oldies/WJEF (91.9fm, Lafayette), based at Lafayette Jefferson High School in the William S. Frasier Radio-TV Center. When WJEF hired Mr. Brist in the mid-1980s, the radio station was barely a decade old. Mr. Brist succeeded Bill Fraser (for whom the Radio-TV Center is now named.) Mr. Brist will retire from "Jeff 92" at the end of the school year. Jamie Long (a videographer at local TV station WLFI-TV) will succeed Mr. Brist. The radio station held an open house for Mr. Brist over the weekend. Finally, The Lafayette Journal and Courier did a wonderful interview with Mr. Brist.

Martin Hensley’s New Beginnings Movement sells two translators for $60,000 to Kathy Versemann and Sandy Biddinger's Two Black Cadillacs, Inc. The two translators are W278BB (103.5fm, Greensburg) and W282AZ (104.3fm, Greensburg). The 104.3fm translator already simulcasts WTRE, Inc.'s Country/WTRE (1330am, Greensburg).
