Summer 2016 NEWS
Dear Friend,
There is so much GOOD NEWS to share with you!
We are excited to announce 2 new university partnerships!
Phoenix Center will be partnering with Texas A&M University's Department of Architecture for the design of our future innovative facilities, equine therapy center & camp!  Look out for more news of this exciting project in the months ahead.
And if a partnership with Texas A&M wasn't exciting enough, Phoenix Center will also be partnering with Professor Holly Sterling at Texas State University to design new communications/marketing materials. 100% of the cost of future print materials will be fully funded by a very generous donor.
Since October 2015, when we first launched our capital campaign, over $2.6 million dollars has been pledged by generous local donors!  Read more about our long term plans and vision here.
Thank you for making our work possible.  We truly could not fulfill our mission without YOU and your support.  We are forever grateful. Thank you.

Camp Phoenix Data
Shows Positive Outcomes
This year's Camp Phoenix sessions were a success, with campers showing growth and positive outcomes!
189 children attended Camp Phoenix this spring and summer. We greatly appreicate the mental health professionals & graduate students who volunteered their time to make our camps a success for all!
A very special thanks to Terry Gulden, Patia Strickland, and Megan & Taylor Maanao, who provided invaluable support with camp preparation, cooking and cleaning during all sessions.
We are also thankful for all the donors who make our therapeutic camp sessions possible. We are proud to report tremendous growth in the campers we served!
