Greetings to the NESA Community!

We hope you have all had a great month of May so far! The weather has warmed up, the sun is shining, and we've traded our shovels for rakes (and let's hope we can keep it this way despite the ever-changing forecast!). While our country continues to work hard to overcome this pandemic, we hope you have been able to find some solace as the seasons have changed and can enjoy some time outdoors. We hope it won't be much longer before we are emailing you with an announcement regarding when the doors at NESA will reopen. Until that time, know that we miss each and everyone one of you and look forward to seeing you soon! As always, remember to check our website for updates and new information.

A Message from the NESA Board President

By now most of you will have received an e-mail or letter from NESA regarding how to renew your membership for 2021 online or via mail-in. I wish to congratulate our NESA staff for their diligence and creativity in the implementation of the new software needed to make the online option possible and for their ongoing work planning for re-opening.

Your 2021 membership renewal is critical to the success of NESA as we prepare to re-open as soon as possible once we get the go-ahead from Alberta Health Services and the City of Edmonton. Not only will your financial contribution keep us moving forward, but you will stay in the loop regarding communications and plans. Members interested in serving on the Board of Directors and/or attending the Annual General Meeting currently scheduled for Tuesday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m. via ZOOM are reminded that a current NESA membership is a requirement for both items.

Please take a moment to renew your membership today and stay tuned for more information on how to participate in the AGM - many thanks for your ongoing support!

The NESA team simply wishes to invite all members to sign in so they can become familiar with navigating through this new online program. By doing this, it is hoped that in the future if members wish to purchase a membership and sign up for future activities once NESA reopens, members will feel more comfortable and familiar with how to make online purchases.
