Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Watermark Faculty Success Web Profiles across all three campuses of Seton Hall University. This university-wide initiative enables faculty to actively manage and showcase their teaching, research and service activities. By offering greater control over their professional profiles, the platform enhances the visibility of faculty accomplishments and supports increased collaboration within and beyond the university.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center (TLTC) and the University Relations teams for their valuable contributions throughout the implementation. We are also grateful to our faculty for their engagement and support, which have been essential to the success of this project.
In addition, we are also very excited to announce the long-awaited ground floor renovation at the Walsh Library, which will feature a new state-of-the-art Innovation Hub, easier and expanded access and much more!
This project will expand 24/7 access to an emerging technology hub and foster hands-on learning in spaces that will bring our students together expanding access and use of the ground floor. This reimagined space inside the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center will provide high-impact technology resources and give students access to specialized tools that support creative exploration, academic research and career-ready skills.
This new space will feature:
- an additional glass-walled entry along Seton Drive,
- an open study lounge,
- technology consultation rooms,
- a Maker Studio for hands-on technology projects,
- an XR/AI Studio for exploratory learning,
-
and dedicated content creation spaces, including a Recording Studio and three Podcast Studios.
Construction is expected to begin this month, with minimal disruption to the campus community. For more information, please visit www.shu.edu/future.
We’re excited for what’s ahead and the expansion of our learning and collaboration spaces at the University.

| ABSN Students Serve Community at JBJ Soul Kitchen |
Freehold ABSN nursing students are bringing Seton Hall’s mission of servant leadership to life through a new clinical partnership with JBJ Soul Kitchen in Toms River. Founded by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, the nonprofit restaurant serves both paying guests and those in need, offering meals with dignity and respect. Under Professor Linda Ulak’s guidance, students engage in community health activities like nutrition counseling, blood pressure screenings, and connecting guests with local resources. This hands-on experience helps students understand how food insecurity and health disparities intersect—while also practicing compassionate, service-centered care. As the first nursing students to serve at Soul Kitchen, they are setting a strong example of what it means to lead with purpose in the healthcare field.
