Career Services Advisory Board
The Career Services Student Advisory Board provides input and suggestions to our Career Services Office.
Our Career Services and Professional Development team relies on valuable input from alumni and other employers about our career services efforts. Feedback and suggestions are critical to our mission of offering law students and graduates a collaborative approach to professional development and employment search strategies. As many of you interview our students this spring – either through our currently open On-Campus Interview Program, through advertising with a “Job Posting” or through a “Resume Collect” – we hope you will tell us where we are succeeding and how we can better assist you in considering and hiring our students. To integrate much-needed student perspectives, we have introduced a Career Services Student Advisory Board. Just as we welcome alumni feedback, we believe student viewpoints are equally as important to developing our programming, employer outreach and career advising strategies. Thank you to everyone who is advising us as we help launch careers! Please note that the fall On-Campus Interview season will commence August 5 and we hope to see many of you in Tallahassee to meet our students.

“The classes and co-curricular experiences in which I enrolled while I was a student at FSU College of Law served as a very solid foundation for me as my legal career has progressed—the professors I had and friends I made left a lasting impression on me. I am excited to now be part of a statewide firm, Stearns Weaver Miller (with many FSU Law alumni); it gives me the opportunity to further develop upon this excellent foundation and to continue to grow as a professional. Additionally, I enjoy forming mentoring relationships with current law students to help them also get the most out of their time at FSU Law!”
