The Diverse International Women of Color Study Abroad Scholarship- Deadline: April 17 for Summer 2023! July 17 for Fall 2023. Intended to assist women of color who are exceptional in their studies and in need of financial assistance to study abroad. DIWC will award $500 scholarships to women of color who have been accepted to an In-Person Study Abroad Program.

Presidential Associates Program at The American University in Cairo- Deadline: April 29! This program provides recent university graduates who are American citizens or permanent residents the opportunity to work at the highest levels of an international university, learn Arabic, and experience life in Cairo. Associates spend one year working at AUC. Each associate fulfills a full-time position in an AUC office or department that aligns with their professional and academic interests. Each associate receives a monthly living stipend to cover expenses in Cairo. Additionally, the program will cover one economy class round-trip ticket between your hometown and Cairo, and associates will receive a settling-in allowance upon arrival. Associates live in rent-free, furnished apartments owned or leased by AUC. Associates receive 60 hours a semester of individual Arabic tutoring through AUC's School of Continuing Education.

Victory Congressional Fellowship- Deadline: May 7! The Victory Congressional Fellowship (VCF) brings one outstanding LGBTQ young professional to Washington, DC, for an intensive leadership program. Now in its seventh year, the program includes a year-long fellowship in the office of a co-chair of the LGBT Equality Caucus supporting the Executive Director of the LGBT Equality Caucus and an educational and leadership development program to learn about the legislative process and careers in policy-making.

Victory Empowerment Fellowship- Deadline: May 8! The Victory Empowerment Fellowship is a six-month fellowship for LGBTQ leaders of color and/or transgender leaders who seek to expand their campaign skills and policy-making power and join a strong cohort of movement leaders from across the country.

Alliance for Women in Media Foundation AWMF/NCTA Scholarship- Deadline: May 26. The Internet and Television Association Scholarship allows a deserving female communications/media undergraduate student to create an original piece (digital short, video, animation, multi-media, or other concept chosen by the student) that will be featured in NCTA and AWMF media distribution channels. In addition, the chosen student will receive a scholarship to their educational institution for $10,000 and a ticket to attend the Gracies Leadership Awards in the Fall of 2023.

GrubStreet’s Teaching Fellowship for Black Writers- Deadline: May 30. Provides financial and professional development support to two self-identified Black writers interested in teaching classes, participating in events, and working with our instructors and staff to deepen our curriculum. The fellowship includes compensation of $25,000, artistic mentorship, and access to the GrubStreet community and the Muse and the Marketplace conference.

National Military Intelligence Foundation (NMIF) Merit Scholarship- Deadline: May 26. NMIF is currently accepting applications for the annual NMIF Merit Scholarships to support students pursuing courses of study and formal degrees in intelligence studies and related disciplines including international relations. Awards range from $1,000-$5,000. Open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students.

Vital Voices Global Partnership is an international NGO dedicated to working with women throughout the world to provide the support and tools they need to have a positive impact in their communities. Remote and DC-based internships available in Development and Strategic Partnerships, Communications and Events, Issue Advocacy, Crisis Response, Leadership and Social Impact, and Global Network and Regional Engagement for the Voices Against Violence program. Internships require 20-40 hours / week. Payment of $1,000 per month for full time and $500 for part-time. Summer internships run from May 29-August 2023. Learn more.
