Featured Fellowship: Fulbright UK Summer Institutes
Fully funded three to four-week programs for first-year and sophomore students, who have no or very little travel experience outside North America. Participants explore the culture, heritage, and history of the UK while experiencing higher education at a UK university. Read more.

DEADLINE: January 15Global Sustainability Scholars Fellowship
Open to graduate students only (Fall 2024 enrollment is acceptable). The program offers a 10-week paid immersive training and mentoring with a global sustainability organization. Fellows will work with sustainability organizations and are paid a stipend of $8,000 for their participation. Read more.

Deadline: January 16Essential Visionaries Scholarship Fund
Established to assist undergraduate students seeking a degree in Education, Counseling, or Psychology. Recipients receive up to $10,000. Read more.

Deadline: January 27Freedom in the World Junior Fellowship
A 9-month paid international affairs fellowship. Junior Fellows manage the research for one of the six geographic regions and will be based in either New York City or Washington DC. Candidates must possess authorization to work in the US; those with OPT may apply. Read more.

Deadline: January 31Emerging Voices Fellowship
A five-month virtual mentorship program for early-career writers traditionally underrepresented in the publishing world. The program is committed to cultivating the careers of Black writers. It serves writers who identify as Indigenous, persons of color, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, writers with disabilities, and those living outside urban centers. Fellows will receive an honorarium of $1,500. A paid program that allows undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds who are considering careers in the field of law or social science to gain a hands-on learning experience for eight weeks during the summer. Read more.

A full law school scholarship for tuition, room and board, and incidentals. In return, Scholars will commit to serving as civil rights lawyers based in the South, engaged in a law practice focused on achieving racial justice for 8 years following the conclusion of their fellowship. Read more.

Anatolia College, located in Thessaloniki, Greece is searching for motivated recent college graduates who are passionate about education and interested in an early professional opportunity in an international setting. For the academic year 2024-2025, Anatolia will offer nine paid fellowships in teaching, education administration, and student life. Read more.

Deadline: February 5FAO Schwarz Fellowship
A two-year post-graduate experience for graduating seniors to work for a select group of high-impact non-profits in either Boston, Philadelphia, or New York City. Fellows receive a yearly salary, relocation funds to move to and away from their placements, full-coverage health insurance, and a monthly subway or public transportation pass for their placement. Deadline: February 6Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program
A six-week summer program that provides students with a deeper appreciation of current issues in international affairs and career opportunities in international affairs. The program covers tuition, travel, housing, and two meals per day. It also provides a stipend of $3,300. Open to U.S. citizens with at least sophomore-level standing and a 3.2 minimum GPA. Deadline: FEBRUARY 4American Natural History Museum Summer Undergraduate Research in Astrophysics and Earth and Planetary Sciences
The program brings approximately eight students to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City for a ten-week experience working with our curators, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows. Students receive a $6,400 traineeship stipend, as well as per diem costs for housing and meals, relocation expenses, and transportation subsidies. Read more.

Deadline: February 9Masonic Medical Research Institute (MMRI) Summer Fellowship ProgramFellows work on cutting-edge scientific research studies such as projects in cardiovascular, neurocognitive, and autoimmunity diseases, as well as in cancer and gastrointestinal diseases. For ten weeks, fellows are paired with scientists at the MMRI, in an intensive working and mentorship experience at one of the preeminent research institutes in the USA. Read more.

Other Notable Opportunities

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1, 2024Formerly the Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship, the program pays tribute to Frederick Douglass’ transformative experience visiting Ireland more than 175 years ago. Interns will work at an Irish organization and receive academic credit while participating in a special exploration of the influence Daniel O’Connell had on Frederick Douglass. The award covers the full program cost, airfare, housing, field trips, and an academic course. Meals and recreational activities are not covered. Applicants must be current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors from an accredited institution, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents. Pell-eligible preferred (not required).
