Each spring, the Office of the Provost recognizes faculty who have been promoted, including those who have earned tenure, assumed an academic leadership role, reached emerita/emeritus status and/or completed 25 or 50 years of service to the University. (Full list)

Every year, faculty and staff are honored for excellence in research, teaching and other work in support of Notre Dame’s academic community. The awards are coordinated by the Office of the Provost, with the exception of the Research Achievement Award and the Toohey Awards, which are presented by Notre Dame Research and the Office of Campus Ministry, respectively. (More...)

Researchers, Innovation Park startup partner with Air Force

Notre Dame researchers in the Center for Research Computing and the Department of Psychology, in partnership with the U.S. Air Force and Trek10, a cloud engineering innovation company based in the University’s Innovation Park, have developed an adaptive online learning platform to educate members of the Air Force on cloud computing. (More...)

Groundbreaking employee

Notre Dame Magazine looks at the life of William H. Alexander Sr., the University's first Black full-time employee. Alexander began working at Notre Dame in 1934, during the Great Depression. He went from being a porter to University mailman by 1950. Breaking the color barrier didn't come easy, as some in the campus community made their resentment known. That didn't keep him from working here for nearly three decades. (More...)

ND hosts NCAA Baseball Championship regional games

Notre Dame is one of just 16 regional sites for the 2021 NCAA Baseball Championship. It's the fifth time the University has been a regional host. The championship kicks off with Game 1 on Friday at 1 p.m. against Central Michigan. Tickets are $8 and on sale now. (More...)
