Stanford University is making changes to your Plan's investment lineup.

Important information about your retirement plan is now available. Please review this information.

Stanford University is committed to periodically reviewing the Stanford Contributory Retirement Plan (SCRP) to make sure it continues to help you meet your retirement and financial goals. The Retirement Programs Investment Committee (RPIC) and our independent third-party investment advisor, Aon Investments USA Inc., recently completed a comprehensive review of the investment options available to you through the SCRP.

As a result of their review, the RPIC decided the Fidelity Freedom® Index Funds - Premier Class will replace the Vanguard Institutional Target Retirement Funds in the investment lineup and will also become the Plan’s new default strategy effective December 3, 2021. Contributions without any investment election on file will be directed to a Fidelity Freedom® Index Fund - Premier Class.

Under the Plan, any contributions for which you do not provide investment direction will be invested in the Plan's Designated Default Fund. Please review the Default Fund Notification under the Plan Changes section of the Plan Information tab in NetBenefits to learn about changes to these funds and your rights under the Plan.
The information provided is based on the timing and accuracy of a variety of factors, including the transfer of data, receipt of instructions, and receipt of assets. Changes in any of these factors may result in changes to the dates and timing, including the dates on which, and thus the prices at which, assets in your account are sold and/or reinvested.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact Fidelity Investments at 888-793-8733 or the University HR Service Team at 877-905-2985.
