Vehicle Collision Destroys Valley Entrance Sign
Around 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning, a vehicle hit the Valley entrance sign. Master Association staff contacted Colorado State Patrol for the accident report and will file an insurance claim. Please be patient, as this process may take longer than expected. Staff will provide an update when more information is known.

Resident Survey Results Presentation Nov. 7
The 2017 Resident Survey results will be presented at the Tuesday, Nov. 7 Master Association and Metropolitan District Joint Study Session at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House. The public is invited to the meeting to hear the results, which will also be posted in full online after the meeting and summarized in the newspaper and e-News.

Job Opening: ControllerThe Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District is accepting applications for a full-time Controller (Finance Manager). Under the general guidance and supervision of the District Manager, the Controller is responsible for planning, directing and reviewing the District’s financial activity, including but not limited to accounting, payroll, revenue collection, investments, budgeting and forecasting. This position will also oversee human resources functions and staff. Starting salary is $85,000-$100,000 depending on experience. CPA required with government finance experience preferred. County Assessor Tax Valuation Presentation

The Jefferson County Assessor, Ron Sandstrom, will be at the Ranch House for a short presentation on property tax assessment. Come learn more about the valuation process, tax distributions, and the history of assessment rates. The brief presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
