  1. Students who could not attend the New Graduate Student Orientation can visit the New Graduate Student Virtual Orientation website page to view the video presentation and access other helpful links.

  2. The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is accepting applications for funding from Registered Student Organizations. Requests can be made through LakerLink. All graduate organizations are able to request financing for on-campus programming and conference travel up to $7500 per organization. 

  3. Guidebooks for the 2021-22 academic year are available on the Guides for Graduate Students page of The Graduate School website. These include the Graduate Student Guidebook, Graduate Advising Guidebook, and the Online Learning Guide. 

  4. Everyone is encouraged to check out the GVSU Mental Health and Well-being Index. This online resource serves as a toolbox to assist in the eight categories of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, physical, occupational, social, and spiritual.

  5. NASA's Michigan Space Grant Consortium has just announced the next round of requests for proposals for Seed Grants and Graduate Student Fellowships for the 2022-2023 year funding cycle

  6. The Data Science and Analytics program's Registered Student Organization (RSO) completed their Inaugural Annual Data Science Contest hosted by the RSO Data Science Society.
